We’re officially halfway through 2025, and time is flying by!

With summer in full swing, locals and visitors alike are making the most of everything our mountain communities have to offer—from hiking and biking to days at the lake and evenings on the patio. Here are a few of our team’s favourite ways to enjoy summer:

Farmers’ Markets

Both the Whistler and Pemberton farmers’ markets run through the fall, featuring producers and vendors from across the province and locally. With the Pemberton market on Fridays and the Whistler market on Sundays, it’s easy to visit both in a single weekend.

Winter 2024 – Blog Post

With both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains open as of a few weeks ago to skiers, snowboarders, and sight seers alike, it’s safe to say all are enjoying the start of the winter season.

Summer 2024 Blog

What’s new in Whistler

As we are on our way to Summer, the Mountain is now closed for skiing and the Bike Park has opened on May 17th for the season until October 14 2024. As for Summer sightseeing and hiking, Blackcomb is open May 21 – September 22 via Blackcomb Gondola, the Peak 2 Peak Gondola will run June 15 – September 22 and Whistler Mountain will be open for sightseeing From June 15 – September 2nd. Rainbow Park has been under renovation since June 2023 and construction has restarted April 2 2024. It will still continue throughout June and its anticipated opening Date is July 1st 2024.

Spring Blog 2024

Spring is here! With longer days and rising temperatures, the anticipated change of seasons has finally arrived. Time to shake off the winter and enjoy multisport days and Whistler’s amazing spring specials.

Spring Dining Deals Are Back

The Spring months are the best time to try some fresh or old dining favorites in Whistler! Usually between March and May, most local restaurants and pubs offer food and beverage specials and multi-course meals at a great price.

Winter 2024

Whistler is known for its world class skiing. The Mountain is open every day from 8.30am to 3.30pm now. From February 24, the mountain will stay open until 4pm. Sightseeing is daily from 10am until the mountain closes.

There was a slow start to the 2023/2024 winter season which were followed by some great snow days in January. Now that the rain is dominating the last week of January, we all wonder how the season will proceed. So let’s have a look at the snow statistics from the past and how this season’s snowfall compares to the average cumulative snowfall:

Spring 2023

Spring is just around the corner! Days are getting warmer, longer and the snow is starting to disappear. This is a great time in the Sea to Sky, the mountain is still open for everyone to enjoy, bike trails are opening up for the riders and the golf courses are getting ready to open their doors for the season.

As of March 7, 2023, Whistler Mountain is open 8-4 daily with scheduled date to close for the season April 16, 2023. Blackcomb Mountain is open 8-4pm daily with scheduled date to close May 22, 2023.
