Fall 2023

As the vibrant hues of summer will start to give way to the earthy tones of fall, there’s a magical transformation that sweeps through the picturesque town of Whistler. Fall in Whistler offers a respite from the bustling crowds that typically fill the town during the peak summer months.  While Whistler is renowned for its world-class skiing and exhilarating winter activities, the arrival of fall means cooler temperatures provide the perfect conditions for exhilarating activities like mountain biking, zip-lining and scenic hikes filled with lush foliage.

Whistler’s fall calendar is filed with festivals and cultural events so let’s dig into a few of them coming up.

The Whistler Writers Festival, October 16 – 23, 2023:

Whistler Writers Festival hosts its 22nd anniversary with the theme connecting through story. New events, including a comedy show, more poetry, 20 reading events and 10 workshops, give you plenty of opportunities to share, experience and learn together. Most events are at Fairmont Chateau Whistler, and some offer the opportunity to join online.

Cornucopia, November 9 – 19, 2023:

Let your taste buds run wild at Cornucopia, Whistler’s annual fall festival of food and drink. Made for the epicurious, uninhibited food and drink lover, Cornucopia offers many opportunities to experiment with your palate, expand your knowledge, and celebrate Whistler’s world-class food and drink scene.
