What’s new in Whistler
As we are on our way to Summer, the Mountain is now closed for skiing and the Bike Park has opened on May 17th for the season until October 14 2024. As for Summer sightseeing and hiking, Blackcomb is open May 21 – September 22 via Blackcomb Gondola, the Peak 2 Peak Gondola will run June 15 – September 22 and Whistler Mountain will be open for sightseeing From June 15 – September 2nd. Rainbow Park has been under renovation since June 2023 and construction has restarted April 2 2024. It will still continue throughout June and its anticipated opening Date is July 1st 2024.
Property Tax and Annual Utility Notices are mailed during the third week of May, due the first business day in July annually. A penalty of 5% is applied on any outstanding current balances after the due date. An additional 5% penalty is applied to current outstanding balances after September 15. Register for MyWhistler to have online access to your accounts. For questions about your property taxes and utilities please contact the Finance Department at finance@whistler.ca.

Whistler Summer Concert Series – July and August 2024
The free Whistler Summer Concerts Series are back this year again at the Whistler Olympic Plaza! Presented by the Resort Municipality of Whistler, 13 great Canadian and international talents will perform at this wonderful outdoor setting in the heart of the village. The first performance kicks off on July 1st with Walk Off The Earth and then they will take place Thursdays and Fridays in July and August. Each evening’s program starts at 6.30 pm with a live DJ set before the headlining performers begin at 7.30 pm.
