Winter is here

The Winter Season 2021/2022 has kicked off as of November 26 2021. Here are our updates and reminders from Whistler and some of the changes in Whistler’s Real Estate Markets.

The Vail Whistler Blackcomb Ski Resort has opened its doors for ALL, locals and visitors.

Whistler Real Estate today has very low inventory in all sectors of the market. There continues to be a strong demand from Buyers for Whistler and area properties. It is a great time to sell! With tourists visiting now from around the world, revenues on various types of property should remain positive.

If you are planning on a trip to Whistler this Winter, check out the Whistler Blackcomb Homepage for Lift Tickets, Lift & Terrain Status, Rentals and Lessons. This year, there will be no reservation system in place as lifts and gondolas will be loaded at normal capacity. Proof of vaccination will not be required to ride, but will be required for indoor dining and patios. Face masks will still be mandatory on gondolas and indoors. If you would like to eat on the mountain, please make sure you book a reservation using the EpicMix app or you may do it online. There will be no proof of vaccination needed to use washrooms on the mountain. The tube park on Blackcomb Mountain will reopen in early December.

Whistler is a magnetic place to ride with plenty of slopes and a great alpine terrain for all levels of Skiers and Snowboarders! The Village has a great variety of Restaurants, Bars and shops to enjoy your time on a day off from skiing or for Après! Or you get out on Cross-Country Skis for a change and visit the Whistler Olympic Park or the Lost Lake Park. If you like to relax, definitely check out the Scandinave Spa. It offers saunas, hot and cold pools as well as massages with a beautiful forest scenery.

Whistler really offers an abundance on activities and businesses are up and running again. With some adjustments, we are ready for your visit! Check out the Tourism Whistler Homepage for a full list of all Whistler upcoming events and things to do! Our December Newsletter will also give you some ideas on fun things to do in Whistler this Winter. We will be happy to include anyone interested in regular updates.
